What is Homestead Community Lacrosse Day??

The Homestead Community Lacrosse Day is a day where almost all of the Homestead affiliated lacrosse teams have scheduled one or more lacrosse games.  Games start at 10:00AM and end approximately 9:30PM.  Since two fields are being used, multiple games may be played at one time.  The Homestead clubs are extending a special invitation to those in the Fort Wayne community to attend Community Day and come see what the sport of lacrosse is all about!  In addition to watching as many middle school and high school games as you like, there are plenty of other things going on.  There will be lots of food, including Nelson's chicken (sold primarily through tickets ahead of time).  There will be burgers and hot dogs grilled right at the concession stand.  A radar gun will be set-up for those that would like to see just how fast they can throw a lacrosse ball!   Information tables will be set-up with informaton about lacrosse camps, the sport of lacrosse, lacrosse gear and much more.  Sponsors like Aboite Trails will be present to show you how the project is unfolding.  There is much more to come so make sure to check back often as new information will be added!
